Stunning graphics, slick gameplay, diverse characters, multiple options. Starcraft features all of these, and since it's release, I've been completely addicted to the Terran way of living. Long live the Confederacy!

Yeah, Starcraft is pretty much THE rts. I actually bought the Starcraft/Broodwar set for myself in December, so that I could have the original discs and legal CD keys.

I haven't really tried Brood, but I definetely play the original much.
It is top of teh line RTS.
And they're making another starcraft game, so I've heard.

Starcraft... the famous RTS that bring joy and many more new RTSs into the world. All becuase of Blizzard Co.. I salute thee, Starcraft, a RTS that doesn't really require a booklet to understand, and it's very easy and simple. But as a retro gamer, I really think that Starcraft should have somethin like a newer series. I don't mean like another RTS with starcraft, but I think that it's great if Blizzard could come out somthin else like the upcoming starcraft ghost game. I mean instead of just playing as a women that's a ghost, I think that it's better if the players are able to play as any unit in the starcraft universe. Speaking of universe, they should also come out a starcraft based MMORPG...
Shout out to my favorite unit - The Space Marines.

protoss ftw
i really only played that game for the online, and thats where brood war was way better then the first one
sc= better 1 player mode
sc brood war= better online
